State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, has today, April 10, 2022, released the official notification for the upcoming POLYCET 2022 examination. The notification and other exam-related instructions have been made available online, on the official website polycetap.nic.in. Candidates willing to pursue polytechnic courses can apply for the state-level entrance exam starting tomorrow, April 11, 2022. As per official information, the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2022 exam is set to be conducted on May 29, 2022.
It is important for candidates to ascertain their eligibility before filling-up the AP POLYCET 2022 form. The criteria along with syllabus, exam pattern, fee details, etc have been made available on the official website polycetap.nic.in.
AP POLYET 2022 – Schedule & Dates
As per the official AP POLYCET 2022 booklet, the entrance test is all set to be conducted on May 29, 2022. Application process for the test shall commence tomorrow. Candidates have time till May 18, 2022, to fill and submit the online form. Unlike other competitive exams, this test does not require any fee. So, candidates need to fill the form, upload the required document and submit the same before the stipulated deadline.
Interestingly, the AP POLYCET 2022 booklet does not carry the exam schedule. Instead, the dates have only been updated on the official website. Furthermore, there is no mention of any date of admit card release. So, candidates need to keep track of the website for any future updates in this regard.
AP POLYCET 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
Before filling-out the AP POLYCET 2022 application form, candidates are instructed to fulfill the eligibility criteria. They have been listed-out below –
# Candidates should be an Indian national.
# He/she should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh and prove his/her domicile.
# He/She should have completed the SSC or Class 10 education from any state or centrally recognised education board, with Mathematics as one of the subjects and at least 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
# Candidates belonging to NIOS, APOSS, CBSE, ICSE or any other Class 10 board exam must have passed all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with at least 35% marks in each subject.
# Those who have or are appearing for the SSC 2022 board exams are eligible to apply for AP POLYCET 2022 examination.
# There is no specified upper age limit for AP POLYCET 2022 examination. However, to obtain a scholarship, candidates need to abide by the Social Welfare (Education) Department guidelines.
# Merely qualifying the entrance test will not guarantee admission to any candidate unless other requirements and criteria are fulfilled.
