The Army Institute of Law (AIL) Punjab has released a notification regarding the Law Entrance Test (LET) for admission on the official website. According to the official notification, the admission process of the Army Institute of Law will commence from April 1, 2022. Candidates can visit the official website of AIL at ail.ac.in.
AIL Admission 2022
AIL Punjab offers admission to 5-year integrated LLB and 1 year PG LLM courses. Candidates who wish to pursue courses at AIL should apply online for the CET conducted for admission. The admissions will be solely based on the results of the CET. The date of the AIL CET 2022 will be declared officially on the website later. Candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹3000 online during the application process.

AIL CET 2022 Eligibility
To apply for the AIL CET 2022 the candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements of the institute. These are as per previous year notification and a similar outline can be expected this time as well.
- For the 5 year integrated BA LLB course, the candidates must have completed 10+2 education from the Punjab Board of Education or should have a qualification equivalent to it. An aggregate score of at least 45% is required to apply for the same.
- To apply for the one-year postgraduate diploma course, LLM, at the AIL, candidates have to complete either a 5 year integrated BA LLB course or 3 year LLB course. Candidates must have an aggregate score of at least 55% in the qualifying exam.
- Students who are appearing for the final examination of their 10+2 education can also apply for the 5 year integrated BA LLB on a provisional basis.
Seat reservations
The majority of the seats at the AIL are reserved for the candidates who are wards of army personnel. For the 5 year BA LLB course, admission to 60 seats for the wards of army personnel is selected from the CET, 4 seats for students under the AIQ and the 16 seats reserved for Punjab residents will be based on 10+2 merit.
For the LLM course at AIL majority of the seats are reserved for the candidates whose parent has served at least 10 years in the service. 2 seats are reserved for Punjab residents.
