Indian Air Force is releasing the AFCAT Admit Card 2019 today, at afcat.cdac.in. Recently, IAF released the call letters for NCC Special Entry 2019 for courses commencing January 2020. Air Force Common Admission Test admit card can be downloaded at the candidate login of AFCAT 02/2019 using email ID and password. AFCAT as well as EKT will be held on August 24 and 25, 2019.
IAF has mentioned today’s date, that is August 2, 2019, as the date of release of AFCAT admit card. Our reporter just talked at the helpline number to know the exact time of admit card release. As per the conversation, IAF / CDAC is putting in all efforts to issue the call letter by today evening; no time can be promised as of now. If the process does not complete due to any unforeseen circumstances, even the, the call letters will definitely be processed by next week (Monday).
Ever since AFCAT exam went online, Centre for Development for Advanced Computing or CDAC is responsible for its conduct. By the same token the official website of AFCAT exam is also now afcat.cdac.in. To download admit card, one has to go to the official website and click on the “AFCAT 02/2019” link under “Candidate Login” in the menu. Anyone who has lost his or her password can retrieve it using email ID, mobile number, secret question, and secret answer.
AFCAT 02/2019 notification says ” After 02 Aug 2019 click “DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD” to download your Admit Card from the website https://afcat.cdac.in and you will also receive admit card on your registered email ID.” The notification further states that applicants unable to get the admit card need to contact AFCAT Query Cell at CDAC Pune, at phone numbers 020-25503105 or 020-25503106, or direct their queries via email to afcatcell@cdac.in.
On both exam dates, AFCAT will be held in shift 1, and AFCAT+EKT will be held in shift 2. The reporting time for shift 1 is 8 am. Then admit card verification, ID proof check, biometrics, attendance sheet filling and seating in hall will be done from 8 am to 9:30 am. Candidates will be able to read instructions from 9.30 am to 9.45 am. Finally exam will be from 9.45 am to 11.45 am.
In the second shift candidates must report by 12.30 pm. Verification and seating in hall will be done from 12.30 pm to 2 pm. Thereafter candidates will be allowed to read instructions from 2 pm to 2.15 pm. AFCAT shall take place from 2.15 to 4.15 pm. EKT instructions reading time will be 4.15 to 4.30 pm. And EKT shall take place from 4.30 pm to 5.15 pm. No one will get entry after reporting time closes.
AFCAT online test is conducted twice a year for flying branch and ground duties (technical and non technical) / NCC special entry / Meteorology entry. Both men and women defence aspirants are eligible for this mode of entry to IAF.
