Aditya Singh Tops UPSEE 2018 with 572 / 600 marks; Counselling Starts from June 25

Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) announced the UPSEE 2018 Result today, on May 30, 2018. The exam was held for 11 courses, most popular of which is for B.Tech stream. It is reported that more than one lakh candidates applied for B.Tech examination. Among these, Aditya Sigh from Gautam Buddha Nagar has topped the examination with 95.33%.

He has secured 572 marks out of 600, which is a remarkable performance in the State Entrance Exam. Second in line is Deepankur Kansal. He belongs to Meerut and has got 552 marks in the exam. In B.Pharm stream, Kartikey Singh has secured rank 1.

Aglasem would like to congratulate all the toppers of UPSEE 2018. Minister Ashutosh Tandan has also congratulated the toppers and has promised that top 100 UPSEE girl topper, SC / ST toppers, and overall toppers will be getting laptops for free.

Those who did not do well in the exam must be dishearten. This is just a small hurdle. Keep on working hard and you will reach your goal.

This year, a total of 156,452 candidates appeared for UPSEE. Of these, 1,43,551 candidates qualified the examination. The result of the examination has been announced for all the candidates.

Now, the counselling of UPSEE 2018 will begin. It is expected that the University will begin the counselling from June 25, 2018, onwards. It will be held in online mode and to participate in it, the candidates will first have to register. During the registration, the candidates will have to pay counselling fee of around Rs. 20000. The same for SC / ST candidates will be near Rs. 12000.

Once, the registration is done, the candidates will be called for the document verification round. During the document verification, the eligibility of the candidates will be check. Those who will be termed eligible, will be able to submit choices for the course and the colleges. It is important to note that the choices must be submitted in the order of priority.

After the end of option filling, the University will release announce the UPSEE 2018 seat allotment result. The result is to be check online. If the candidates are satisfied with the allotment then they may accept the offer. However, if the candidates is not satisfied with the allotment, they may opt for the next round of counselling.

In all, there will be three rounds of counselling. However, before concluding the admission process AKTU might also conduct spot round. In this round, the seat will be allotted in the first-come-first-served basis. You can refer to UPSEE Cut Off to get an idea of possibility of getting seat at your score.
