VCSG Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry has advertised 68 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor. The vacancies are under various institutes of the University in different disciplines/specializations. UUHF has published an official recruitment advertisement in this regard at the website uuhf.ac.in. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to send their applications on the prescribed proforma to Research & Extension Centre (REC) of the University by speed/registered post only so as to reach on or before the last date. The last date of receipt of applications is October 31, 2020.
The vacancies are available under different institutes affiliated by the University in various disciplines. Under the College of Forestry, Ranichauri, Tehri Garhwal, there are 40 vacancies available in all. Similarly, 14 vacancies are available in various disciplines under the College of Horticulture, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal. 3 vacancies are also available under the College of Hill Agriculture, Chirbatia, Jakholi, Rudraprayag. 3 more vacancies are available under the Institute of Food Science & Technology, Majrigrant, Dehradun. Similarly, 3 vacancies are also available in the Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Gairsain, Chamoli. 5 vacancies are also available under the Directorate of Extension for the post of Subject Matter Specialist.
All of the aforementioned vacancies are to be filled up on a direct recruitment basis. The post of Assistant Professor is at the Pay Matrix Level 10 in the pay scale of Rs 57700-182400. Candidates must be fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions in order to apply for the recruitment and be considered for selection. One must have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject/discipline acquired with at least 55% marks. Applicants must also have qualified in the UGC NET, CSIR/ICAR, SLET/SET exam or have a PhD in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2016.
