Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Medical Staff. The posts that are advertised are of Lab Technician, Bio-Medical Engineer, Physician, Physician on call, Intensivist, Medical Officer (MBBS), Medical Officer (Ayurved), Medical Officer (Ayush), Anesthesiologist, and Microbiologist. For the said posts, 234 vacancies are announced. MBMC is conducting the walk-in-interviews on July 29, and July 30, 2020. Eligible candidates should report at the Medical Health Department, 1st floor, Mira Bhayandar Corporations (Late Indira Gandhi Bhavan), Head Officer, Bhayander (West). The recruitment to the medical staff is purely on contractual basis. After the appointment, Physician receives a monthly salary of Rs. 2,00,000/-, Intensivist gets Rs. 2,50,000/-, Anesthesiologist gets Rs. 2,00,000/-, Medical Officer gets Rs. 1,30,000/-, Medical Officer (MBBS) receives Rs. 80,000/- and Medical Officer (Ayurved) gets Rs. 1,25,000/-. Those who are shortlisted as Microbiologist receives Rs. 1,00,000/-, Biomedical Engineer gets Rs. 50,000/- and Lab Technician gets Rs. 18,000/- as per month salary. Physicians on call get Rs.2000/- per visit.
The selection of aspirants is provisional unless they satisfy the eligibility norms prescribed by MBMC. Those who have MBBS degree in Medicine are eligible for the spot of Physician. Candidates who have Gen. Surgery/TB & Chest Disease/Infectious Disease or DNB can submit their forms against the Intensivist post. In addition, candidates must have 04 years of work experience in ICU. To apply for Anesthesiologist, candidates must have MBBS degree with Anesthesiologist speciality. Candidates who wish to submit their applications for Medical Officer must have MBBS degree along with the minimum 02 years work experience in ICU.
Applicants who are applying for Microbiologist post must have MD Microbiology in Molecular Lab and one-year of work experience in the concerned field. To apply for Medical Officer (Ayurveda), candidates must possess MBBS degree and 03 years of work experience in the ICU department. Those who have BAMS, BHMS, BUMS with 01-year work experience are eligible for the posts of Medical Officer (AYUSH). Candidates who possess B.Sc in Micro and M. Sc Micro, Molecular Lab and have minimum 01-year work experience can submit their forms for Lab Technician post. To apply for Biomedical Engineer, candidates must have degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering with minimum 01-year experience.
Candidates have to be present with the original copies of the educational qualification, and other relevant documents for the walk-in-interview round. Also, they have to carry two photocopies of the documents along with the application form. Eligible aspirants are recruited for minimum 03 to 06 months in COVID-19 Health Care centres.
