After November 30, 2018, the University Grant Commission (UGC) will not accept the application form for Junior Consultant. The UGC Junior Consultant recruitment was announced on November 16, 2018, in two departments. Through this recruitment total, 08 candidates will be selected for the post of Junior Consultant in Distance Education Bureau (DEB) and Institutions of Eminence Secretariat (IES) in UGC. The number of vacancies has not specified in IES yet.
For the Consultant in DEB, UGC is accepting the online application form at ugc.ac.in, and the candidates have to send the printed copy of the application form as well. The deadline to submit the hard copy of duly filled application form is December 07, 2018. While for IES the candidates have to submit the offline application form at UGC before November 30, 2018.
The application form of both recruitments should reach at Deputy Secretary (Admn.), Room No. 326, University Grants Commission, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110 002.

In IES the UGC has demanded the candidates with Masters Degree in first class, and P.hD. will be preferred for this post, while for DEB the candidate possessing post graduate with 55% marks is eligible. The maximum age limit for both of the recruitment is 35 years.
The selection of the candidates will be done through the qualification and experience, the Commission will conduct the interview of the shortlisted candidates for final selection for the Consultant in IES. However, the selection process for DEB has not specified in official notification yet.
The recruitment of the Consultant will be done on the Contractual Basis. The period of engagement is 06 months, and during this period the Consultancy Fee will be varied from Rs. 45000 to 50000/- per month for Consultant in DEB. For the consultant in IES, the period of engagement will be one year initially and can be extended up to 03 years if UGC finds satisfactory performance from candidates. The remuneration will be provided between Rs.75,000 – 1,00,000/- Per month, as per the performance of candidates.
