The JEE Advanced is all set to be conducted by the organizing institute IIT Kharagpur on October 03, 2021. Admit cards for the entrance examination have been released at jeeadv.ac.in on September 25, 2021. Candidates who have registered for JEE Advanced 2021 can download the admit cards from the candidate portal of the website by using their registration number, date of birth and mobile number. However, while downloading the admit cards, students were facing the problem, as they were asked to enter the Admin Key, which was unknown to them.
The problem emerges when one tries to access the candidate portal from the official website. When the portal opens, a message flashes on the screen saying ‘Maintenance: Please do not access’. Below this message, the candidates are asked to enter their admin key, JEE (Advanced) registration number, date of birth and mobile number. Initially, the maintenance message did not flash on the candidate portal but the students were required to provide the admin key. Later on, when students tried to log in, they reported that the maintenance message was put up.
However, there is nothing to worry about this problem because the site is under maintenance and is probably going through some changes. Anyway, students will not be able to access the admit cards during this time. All they can do is try logging in after some time in case the issue prevails. According to experts, this problem could be because of high website traffic due to which the website could have possibly required some maintenance. Hence, if one is facing the same problem, then it is ideal to try logging in after 1 to 2 hours. If required, students can reach out to the JEE Advanced helpline numbers that are available on the official website.
The JEE Advanced admin key problem was seen on September 26, 2021 as many students accessed the website for downloading the admit cards. However, now, the website seems to work fine. Those candidates who are yet to download the JEE Advanced admit cards can do till October 03, 2021.
