Women and Child Development, Surat, Gujarat is conducting recruitment for the vacant posts of Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker. As per the advertisement, WCD Surat has announced 88 vacancies for Anganwadi Helper and Anagwandi Worker post. An official notification in this regard has been released on the official website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. Applicants can submit their applications for the said posts before the last date that is October 02, 2020.

The said recruitment is open only for the female candidates. Interested and eligible women candidates are encouraged to submit their application for 50 Anganwadi Helper post and 38 Anganwadi Worker post. These posts are announced under the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) of WCD Surat.
WCD Syrat has already specified the eligibility required for the aforementioned post. Only those women candidates who are a local resident of Surat, Gujarat are eligible for applying for Anganwadi Helper and Worker. Those who are applying for Anganwadi Worker should have passed 12th class. Candidates intending to apply for Anganwadi Helper post should have passed 10th class before applying. If an applicant has a higher educational qualification, then they are also eligible for this recruitment. Moreover, all the educational qualification should be attained from the Gujarat state itself.
Not only educational qualification, but candidates also have to abide by the age limit for the advertised post. To apply for WCD recruitment, candidates should have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years. Their age should not be more than that of 33 years while applying.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications for WCD recruitment through online mode only. For this they have to browse the official website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in, and click on the recruitment tab. After clicking on that, candidates can see the ‘apply’ link. Tap on that link and proceed to submit the online application form.
The application procedure can be completed in two stages which are the registration process and application submission. In the registration form, candidates have to provide some details such as the district, taluka, Anganwadi and mobile number. In the application form, candidates are asked to provide details such as date of birth, category, educational qualification information, photograph, signature, date of birth proof, residential proof, affidavit of Rs. 100/- and 10th and 12th pass certificate.
Candidates are appointed as Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker based on the eligibility. Those who satisfy all the eligibility criteria are taken into consideration and a merit list is formed. Aspirants can check the final merit list through the WCD website.
