WCD is inviting applications from eligible female candidates for recruitment under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) to the posts of Anganwadi Workers & Helpers. A total of 275 vacancies are advertised through the official website e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. in the detailed recruitment notification. Applications are invited through online channels before the last date. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for recruitment to the vacancies through the aforementioned website. The last date of submission of online applications is August 13, 2020. The application window is open since July 24, 2020.
As per the official recruitment notice, the total number of advertised are bifurcated across the posts for Anganwadi Worker & Anganwadi Helper. There are 132 openings for the post of Anganwadi Worker. The rest of the vacancies, i.e. 143 vacancies are for the post of Anganwadi Helper. The recruitment is only open for local women candidates in the district of Junagadh, Gujarat. The vacancies are under the administrative control of the Integrated Child Development Services in the district.
As per the notice, the recruitment is open for local female candidates who have acquired the minimum eligibility conditions on or before the cut-off date i.e. the last date of application. Thus, applicants must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as on the last date of notification. On the other hand, the maximum age of the applicants must not be more than 33 years as on the last date of submission of online applications. In addition, such applicants must have achieved the minimum educational qualifications on or before the last date. Those who aspire to apply for the post of Anganwadi Worker must have passed Class 12th. On the other hand, those who aspire to apply for the post of Anganwadi Helper must have passed the Class 7th exam.
The selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of merit as per their qualifications. Merit list of shortlisted candidates is published after selection at the aforementioned official website. Therefore, candidates are advised to go through the recruitment notification carefully and ensure that they furnish all the correct information during the online application process.
