West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released latest notification for Audit and Accounts Service Exam. Aspirants who are interested in recruitment can download the Advt. No. 17/2020 from wbpsc.gov.in. As per the advertisement, the conduct has announced the recruitment for 50 vacant posts. Eligible candidates can submit their online application from December 15, 2020 onwards. The WBPSC Audit and Accounts Service Exam are scheduled in the month of May 2021.
Only those candidates can submit their applications online who possess a bachelor’s degree in commerce from a recognized university. Those who are a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Member of Institutes of Cost Accountant of India can also apply. Candidates with MBA/ PGDM (Finance) or equivalent post-graduation can also make for the WBPSC Audit and Accounts Service Exam.
WBPSC Audit and Accounts Recruitment 2020 Notification
While applying, the candidate’s age should not be more than that of 36 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved category candidates. For the SC/ ST category candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years. Up to 03 years age relaxation is provided to Backward Class candidates.
Eligible candidates can submit their WBPSC Audit and Accounts Service Exam application form online. They have to visit the official website of WBPSC to get the online application form link, wbpsc.gov.in. Applicants first have to register themselves and then submit the WBPSC Audit and Accounts application. The last date to submit applications form is December 30, 2020, up to midnight.
Aspirants also have to submit Rs. 210/- as application fee. SC/ST candidates of West Bengal state and Person with Disability are exempted from the fee submission process. The fee can be paid via the online or offline process. Aspirants must note the last date to submit fee through the online method if December 30, 2020. They can submit the fee through offline mode (Chalan) before December 31, 2020.
The selection procedure for WBPSC Audit and Accounts Exam 2020 consists of two stages. The first stage is the preliminary examination which is an objective multiple choice questions paper. The second stage is the mains examination followed by a personality test. Those who qualify the prelims exam are called for the WBPSC mains exam. The Mains examination will take place in Kolkata as per schedule. On qualifying Mains exam, applicants can appear for the interview round. This stage is conducted at WBPSC, West Bengal Office. As of now, WBPSC has not yet disclosed the exact dates for WBPSC Audit and Accounts Service Exam 2020.
