West Bengal Public Service Commission has released a short notice for WBCS 2022 yesterday. The application form registration is going to commence on March 03, 2022, while the last date to fill the form is March 24, 2022, at 12 AM. Candidates can access the application form on the official website, wbpsc.gov.in. The candidates can edit the application form from April 01 to 07, 2022. The commission has not announced any exam date for WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) is not yet announced.

WBCS 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The commission is yet to release the detailed notification for WBCS 2022. However, based on the last year’s notification, the candidate should be a citizen of India and must have completed Graduation in any discipline. The age limit for applying to WBCS is 21 years to 36 years as of the date of release of notification.
WBCS 2022 Selection Process
As per the previous year, the selection process of WBCS had three rounds, preliminary, mains, and interview round. The preliminary exam is going to going to have a single paper i.e. General Studies having 200 questions. The examination is going to be held for 2 hours. The main examination usually has six papers including one optional paper. Each paper is going to account for a duration of 3 hours. The third round is the interview round and the final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of the marks scored in the Mains and Interview round. Similar process is expected this year as well.
How to Apply
As per the short notice released by the commission, the candidates have to first enroll themselves through the OTR process and then fill out the application form. Check out the steps mentioned below to apply for WBCS 2022 application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of WBPSC, wbpsc.gov.in
Step 2: Log in with the credentials generated during the OTRs system.
Step 3: Next, fill in the details such as educational qualification, age, address, test center preference, etc.
Step 4: Upload the documents such as photograph and signature in the prescribed limit and format.
Step 5: Pay the WBCS application fee relevant to the candidate’s category and submit the application form.
As per last year’s notification, the application fee is INR 210 only for the unreserved and OBC category. The SC/ST category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee of WBCS 2022.
