West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2018 has been announced. West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has declared the result of class 10th today i.e.on June 06, 2018 at 10:00 AM. In a press conference, the board released the statistics and the name of the toppers. But the link to check the result was activated at 10:00 AM. Now the students can access their results.
WB 10th Result 2018 has been released online on the official website wbresults.nic.in. So, in order to check your result, you need to visit the official website. Then you can click on the link to check Madhyamik Result 2018 of WB. After that, enter your 11 digit roll number (alphanumeric) and date of birth and submit it. You result will appear to you.
The board has released the result according to the roll number and date of birth. But there rae some websites such as indiaresults.com which release the result name wise also. But this time, it also have released the result through roll number.
Now coming to the statistics and the toppers of WB. More than 10 lakh students appeared for the exams of West Bengal Madhyamik this year. The overall pass percentage of the current year is 85.49%.
The topper of the state is a girls. She has won the race among lakhs of boys. The girl who have topped the state is Sanjeevani Debnath. She belongs to Uttarbanga has obtained 689 marks. At the second position there is a boy named Krishnendu Saha. Bardhaman’s bos has gained 688 marks and maintained to be in the second position. If we talk about the third place then it goes to Nilabaja Das. The student has got 687 marks.

Last year, about 10,71,000 students were appeard for the exams of class 10th. The overall pass percentage was 85.65%. In the year 2017, the girls outshined the boys by gaining the pass percentgae as 89% which was 10% higher than the boys. The boys had got the pass percentage as 79%.
