Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced the slot booking process for VITEEE 2021 re-exam for those candidates who could not log in/appear in the exam held on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021. The VITEEE 2021 re-exam is scheduled to be held on June 10, 2021, and the slot booking process has started today on the official Codetantra website i.e. viteee.codetantra.com.
VIT conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination for admission to UG engineering degree courses in the Institute. In 2021, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute conducted the entrance examination in the form of an online remote proctored test from May 28 to 31, 2021. However, VIT has confirmed that a re-examination will be conducted for those candidates who were absent from the test or could not log in for the test on the earlier exam slots.
Slot booking for the VITEEE 2021 re-examination has already started today on the Codetantra website mentioned above. Candidates who have registered for the VITEEE 2021 exam have to book a slot for taking the Online Remote Proctored Test from the comfort of their homes. It may be noted that only after booking an exam slot successfully, candidates are issued the admit card to appear in the VITEEE 2021 exam. The last date to book an exam slot for the VITEEE 2021 re-attempt examination is June 08, 2021, as per official records.
While the Vellore Institute of Technology conducted mock tests prior to conducting the VITEEE 2021 exam, the Institute is also conducting a mock test for candidates who are set to appear in the VITEEE re-exam now. The mock test is scheduled to be held one day before the exam i.e. on June 09, 2021. It may be noted that the purpose of the mock test is to ensure that candidates are well acquainted with the structure and pattern of the remote proctored exam before appearing in the actual exam on June 10, 2021. Candidates intending to appear in the exam are therefore advised to book a slot for the mock test and exam during the slot booking window. It may be noted that the VITEEE 2021 re-exam on June 10, is being held only for those candidates who were absent/could not log in for the exam held earlier from May 28 to 31, 2021.
VIT has released complete details and guidelines for the VITEEE 2021 re-exam on the official website. The slot booking process has started from 10.00 AM today. One can book a slot as per availability till 05.00 PM of the last date i.e. June 08, 2021. Similarly, the mock test will be held on a single day and slots will be available from 08.00 AM in the morning to 06.00 PM in the evening. Aspirants are advised to go through detailed guidelines and set up their devices as per instructions to appear in the VITEEE 2021 re-exam and mock tests now.
