Vikram University Ujjain (MP) has announced the Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) second year exam results today. Students can check Vikram University BA 2nd year result and BCA 2nd year result at vikramresults.in.
Students may be aware that the official website of Vikram University is vikramuniv.ac.in. Right now, the official website is sometimes crashing and showing 500 error. However if you refresh the page a few times it will open. Now you can go to the site and navigate to the menu. If you are on mobile, click on the three horizontal lines at the top right corner.
Now you will see result link as the ninth link under home. Here you will notice that there is a down arrow button to the right of the text. When you click on the arrow, a new option, yearly result opens.
Click on yearly results and you will reach vikramuniresults.in. On this page you will see the dropdown to select exams. If you select BA II year or BCA II year, you will be redirected to vikramresults.in. Now finally here, all you have to do is select the exam and enter roll number, enter security code, and hit submit button. On the next page, marks statement is displayed.
For Vikram University result, the marks statement shows roll number, enroll number, candidate name, father’s or husband’s name, mother’s name, college name. Then comes the marks for theory, CCE, practical, and grand total. The message at the end of the statement says, “The Result displayed on University website is subject to correction. Any discrepancy noticed may be reported at Examination Branch, Vikram University, Ujjain.”
BA students had appeared in the subjects foundation course, sociology, economics, hindi literature. Each subject carries 100 marks. Thus grand total out of 400 are displayed in the results. Likewise it is done for BCA students, for the subjects they had.
Named after King Vikramaditya, the university was established in the year 1957. Today Vikram University enjoys A grade accreditation by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Faculty of arts, physical sciences, education, commerce, information technology, management, social sciences, life sciences thrive in the varsity. Vikram University has around 57 affiliated government colleges, 130 private colleges.
Admissions to UG programs usually commence in the month of June. In UG, the courses offered include Arts – BA Honours Political Science, BA Honours Economics, BA Honours Sociology, BA Honours History, B.Lib & I.Sc; Commerce – B.Com Honours, BBA Honours; Science – BCA; Life Science – B.Sc Honours – Biotechnology.
Kaptan Singh Solanki, who has been the Governor of Tripura, is an alumnus of the university. So is Najma Heptullah, the 16th Governor of Manipur. The Indian inorganic chemist Boyapeti Manoranjan Choudary, mathematician Vijay Kumar Patodi, nuclear power expert V. K. Chaturvedi are all few of the many notable alumni.
