Board of School Education, Uttarakhand has officially declared the result of the UTET 2021 exam held on March 24, 2021. As per the official notice issued on the website ubse.uk.gov.in, the result is available through the Departmental Exams/UTET option on the homepage of the website. As per official reports, only 25.86% candidates have qualified in the first UTET paper while only 18.45% candidates have qualified in the second UTET paper. The examination for both papers was held on the same day in consecutive shifts for a total of 85387 registered candidates.
Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted to certify candidates as eligible to apply for recruitment as a teacher of Class 1 to 8. The first paper of UTET is for those who intend to become a teacher of the primary level i.e. Class 1 to 5 while the second paper of UTET is for those who intend to become a teacher of upper primary level i.e. Class 6 to 8. As per official sources, 42817 candidates registered for the first paper out of which, 39309 candidates appeared in the test. On the other hand, 42570 candidates registered for the second paper out of which, 39180 candidates appeared in the test.
Candidates who took the UTET 2021 exam can check the result on the official website ubse.uk.gov.in. On the homepage of the official website, candidates have to click on the tab Departmental Exams/UTET. Candidates are redirected to a new page containing the direct link to check the UTET Result 2021 of Paper 1 and 2. In order to check the result, candidates have to log in with the Registration Number and Password generated during the time of online registrations for the exam.
The Board has also published a notice containing important statistics of the UTET 2021 exam. Out of the 39309 candidates who appeared for the paper 1 of the UTET 2021 exam, 10166 candidates have qualified. This translates roughly into 25.86% of candidates. On the other hand, out of the 39180 candidates who appeared in the paper 2 of the UTET 2021 exam, only 7230 candidates have qualified. This translates roughly into 18.45% of the candidates.
The Board has indicated in the official notice that individual scorecards will be dispatched to candidates through postal means. Earlier, the Board released the official answer key of the UTET exam which are currently available on the official website. Those who have qualified the test can now apply for recruitment as a teacher of Class 1 to 8 in different schools of the state of Uttarakhand on the basis of UTET 2021 score.
