Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for UPSSSC Lekhpal 2022 for at least 8085 vacancies. The board has provided the advertisement notification link on the official website of UPSSSC, upsssc.gov.in.
UPSSSC Lekhpal Notification 2022
The application form filling for UPSSSC Lekhpal shall commence from January 07 to 28, 2022. The commission has also notified that candidates can make corrections in the application form from January 28 to February 04, 2022.
UPSSSC Lekhpal 2022 – Vacancies
Out of 8085 vacancies reported, 3271 vacancies are reserved for the candidates who belong to the open category. Also, 1690 vacancies are for scheduled caste, 152 for the scheduled tribe, 2174 for OBC category, and 798 vacancies for the EWS category. UPSSSC Lekhpal 2022 – Eligibility
The basic eligibility for UPSSSC Lekhpal 2022 is passing the PET (Preliminary Examination Test) with minimum marks. Other than this, the age limit for this post is 18 to 40 years as of July 01, 2022. Candidates who belong to the reserved category will be eligible to receive age relaxation as decided by the board. Also, the candidate must have cleared class 10+2 from a recognized board with passing marks. The notification also reads that those who have been discharged 2 years of duty in the state service or have a National Cadet Core B certificate can go for direct recruitment.
UPSSSC Lekhpal 2022 – Selection Process
UPSSSC Lekhpal selection process is going to comprise a written examination that shall be conducted with MCQ based questions. The exam is going to have 100 questions from Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Village development. Each section will account for 25 questions and 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer. There is a provision of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer and the duration to complete the test is 2 hours.
The commission has notified the subject wise syllabus on the official notification itself. It has also been mentioned that in case, the commission is forced to conduct the exam in more than one shift then to ensure fairness in the exam it shall use the normalization formula to collate the scores of different shifts.
Salary of UP Lekhpal
Candidates who successfully clear the written exam will stand a chance to get a final appointment within the commission. They will also be eligible to draw a salary equivalent to the pay scale of INR 5200-20200 and grade pay of INR 2000. Other than the basic salary, this post also comes with a lot of extra perks and benefits in the name of allowances.
