Union Public Service Commission has announced the exact timings of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020, and Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service 2020. The CMS 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on October 22, 2020. On the other hand, the Economic/Statistical Service Examination is scheduled to be conducted on October 16, 17 and 18, 2020. The exact time table of the aforementioned exams indicating the exam timings are notified by the Commission at the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. Both the exams will be conducted in multiple shifts on the respective exam date.
The Combined Medical Services Examination 2020 is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts on October 22, 2020. The first shift exam will be conducted from 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM for Paper I. On the other hand, the second shift exam for Paper II is scheduled to be conducted from 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM on the same day. Paper I of the CMS 2020 exam is based on General Medicine and Paediatrics while Paper II is based on the subject areas of Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine.
Likewise, the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Exam is scheduled to be conducted in multiple shifts on October 16, 17 and 18, 2020. On the first day i.e. October 16, the first shift of the exam for the subject of General English (Descriptive) will be conducted from 09.00 AM to 12.00 Noon. On the same day, the second shift exam for the subject of General Studies (Descriptive) will be conducted from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM.
On the second day i.e. October 17, 2020, the Economic Service/Statistical Service examination will be conducted in three shifts. In the first shift i.e. from 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM, the examination for the paper of Statistics I (Objective) will be conducted. The second shift exam from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM will be conducted for the paper of General Economics II (Descriptive). The exam for Statistics II (Objective) paper will be conducted in a simultaneous shift from 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM.
On the final day of the Economic Service/Statistical Service 2020 Examination, i.e. October 18, 2020, the examination will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift exam from 09.00 AM to 12.00 Noon will be held for the paper of General Economics III (Descriptive). The second shift exam will be conducted from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM for the paper of Indian Economics (Descriptive). In addition, the paper of Statistics IV (Descriptive) will also be conducted in a simultaneous shift from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM.
