The National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) II examinations has been successfully held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) yesterday. In the history of UPSC NDA 2, it was for the first time that the examination was made open for female candidates as well. Right after the examination concluded, various coaching centres came up with their answer keys which are now easily available online. These answer keys can be accessed via YouTube and private websites as well.
This year’s UPSC NDA 2 question paper saw a moderate level of difficulty. Unlike the previous examinations, very few questions were asked from Calculus in the Mathematics paper. Out of all the three GAT sections, English was reported to be the easiest part. Despite that, certain sentence reordering, vocabulary-based questions, idioms and phrases etc. were difficult for the candidates. General Knowledge had a moderate level of difficulty.
Now, to check the answer keys that have been released by the coaching centres, simply go to the YouTube search box and type ‘UPSC NDA 2 answer key’ and tour through the videos that appear thereafter. A few notable institutes or channels that have released the answer keys are SSBCrackExams, Cadets Point Defence Academy, Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy, BYJU’s etc. These videos can help candidates calculate a tentative score in the examination. However, take note that there will be a negative marking of one-third of the marks assigned to a particular question.

The cut-offs for the written examination of UPSC NDA 2 2021 are essentially the minimum qualifying marks that will be fixed by the Commission. However, over the years, the minimum qualifying marks is seen to have increased. Back in 2018, it has even crossed 300. Taking cues from the previous year trends, it is speculated that the cut-off for UPSC NDA 2 will remain more than 350 this time. Take a look at the table below.
