Mechanical engineering top 10 rankers are Bhosale Harshal Dnyaneshwar, Sahil Goyal, Chandan, Saurav Kumar, Himanshu Verma, Chaudhari Pushpak Pramod, Manish Rajput, Hemant Kumar Singh, Sabapara Dweep Manishbhai, Sumit Bhamboo.
In electrical engineering, the top 10 rankers are Kartikeya Singh, Shambhavi Tripathi, Abhishek Anand, Ankit Tayal, Kumar Mayank, Ritesh Lalwani, Kartikey Singh, Anshuman Mitra, Deepita Roy, Ankita Sharma.
And the top 10 rankers in electronics and telecom engineering are Rajat Soni, Ankush Mangla, Rohit Kumar Singhal, Amir Khan, Yarramsetty Naga Rahul, Janga Srinivasa Reddy, Rahul Jain, Kuldeep Kumar, Shubham Karnani, Gaurav Srivastava.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of engineering services examination (ESE) 2019. The commission has published a single file containing details of recommended candidates. The result comes shortly after the conclusion of interviews that were held in September-October this year.
IES 2019 final result can be checked at upsc.gov.in, from the final results page. As per it, the number of candidates selected civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering are respectively 233, 87, 86, and 88; which comes out to be a total of 494. For the same branches, the number of vacancies reported by the government for group A and B posts were 260, 103, 96, 94 that is a total of 553.
Result of few candidates have been published provisionally, and are subject to further verification of documents. Their result shall be valid until January 24, 2020. A reserve list of a total of 114 candidates is further published.
UPSC had conducted the IES preliminary exam on January 6, 2019, and announced its result on February 28, 2019. Around 4,048 candidates were declared as eligible for mains exam on the basis of the same. Then, mains exam was held on June 30, 2019, and its results were published on August 2, 2019. A total of 1,403 candidates were called for interview on the basis of mains result.
The candidates who are finally selected, on the basis of this final result, shall be posted in services of different organizations, as per their merit and preference.
Next IES exam, the UPSC IES 2020 is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2020. Recently the application form submission for the same ended. Candidates who have applied, can withdraw their applications until October 28, 2019. Admit cards for the 2020 engineering services exam will be issued in December.
