Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to end the UPSC CDS 1 2022 application process tomorrow. The notification was announced on December 22, 2021, and is supposed to end tomorrow on January 11, 2022. With this, the commission has also announced the application form withdrawal date that is going to be commenced from January 18 to 24, 2022 till 6 pm. Candidates aspiring to apply for UPSC CDS 1 2022 must fill the application form today to avoid last moment hassle.
As per the tentative schedule, the examination is supposed to be held on April 10, 2022, and the admit card will be released at least 3 weeks before the examination. Also, it is expected that the result of the written examination shall be released in May 2022. Whereas the dates for the SSB Interview exam is August-September 2022.
CDS 1 Application Withdrawal Procedure
Candidates who have already filled the UPSC CDS 1 2022 application form but do not wish to appear in the examination can simply withdraw their application forms on the dates prescribed by the commission. The following steps are going to help the candidates with the withdrawal of the UPSC CDS application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Find the registration link on the homepage and click on it
Step 3: Next, log in with the generated registration id and password as mentioned in the application form
Step 4: After this, enter the OTP as received on the mobile number and email id on the login page and proceed to confirm the application form withdrawal
Step 5: Print a clear copy of the withdrawal receipt of UPSC CDS 1 2022 for future reference
Candidates who use the withdrawal facility provided by the commission for the UPSC CDS 1 2022 form are not eligible to receive any fee refund. The commission has notified this beforehand that candidates cannot who withdraw their application form with their free will cannot avail of the fee refund facility.
UPSC conducts the CDS(Combined Defence Service) examination annually for choosing eligible candidates for different defence forces. The selection process usually comprises a written test followed by an interview round. Top defence forces such as the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Air Force Academy and Indian Naval Academy participate in the selection process.
