UPPSC Extend Last Date To Submit Eligibility Documents For ASO Recruitment Under Various Advertisements; Check Here!

In view of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the UPPSC has extended the last date of submission of documents related to Assistant Statistical Officer recruitment under various advertisements

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has published an important notice regarding the extension of the last date to submit supporting documents related to eligibility criteria for Assistant Statistical Officer recruitment. The Commission (UPPSC) has officially announced that the last date to submit such documents by concerned applicants has been extended to July 31, 2020. Earlier, it was announced that the last date to submit such supporting documents related to essential eligibility conditions was July 13, 2020. However, now with the issuance of the latest public notice, candidates are provided with a final chance to submit their documents as per the prescribed proforma. The Commission has indicated that the extension of the last date is being done in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The important notice regarding the recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officers and other equivalent posts is available for download at the official website of UPPSC i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in. Concerned candidates are encouraged to visit the website and download the notice as soon as possible as the notice is visible only till July 31, 2020. It is important that applicants are aware of the specific recruitment advertisements against which, the public notice has been issued. Subsequently, such candidates who applied for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Statistical Officer and other equivalent posts are advised to complete the procedure before the last date.

As per the official public notice, the Commission previously directed applicants against specified advertisement numbers to fill up the proforma available at the website and forward it along with necessary documents to the Commission by July 13, 2020. These directives were issued in regards to the essential eligibility conditions 1 & 2 required to apply for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer and other equivalent posts specified advertisement numbers. However, in view of the situations arising out of the COVID-19 crisis in the nation, the Commission has decided to extend the last date of submission of such documents. Candidates who applied for such recruitments but failed to submit such documents as per the directives are advised to leverage the opportunity and forward their documents before the last date.

The aforementioned directives of the Commission in regards to the recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officer and other equivalent posts were issued against various recruitment advertisements of the Commission. As per the published notice, against advertisement number 146(ii)/03/S-2/D/2012-13 Dated 12 June 2020 the Commission released different advertisements in course of time regarding the recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officer and other equivalent posts. These advertisements include sections 2/2, 2/4 of Advertisement No. 4/2013-14, 2/6, 5/1, 5/2 of Advertisement No. 1/2014-15, sections 2/1, 2/2, 2/3 of Advertisement No. 2/2014-15, section 9/3 of Advertisement No. 3/2014-15, sections 2/14, 2/15, 5/5, 5/6, 9/5 of Advertisement No. 4/2014-15 and section 1/9, 5/8 of Advertisement No. 1/2015-16.

Candidates who have applied against the aforementioned advertisement for recruitment into Assistant Statistical Officer and other equivalent posts are advised to go to the official website and download the corresponding advertisement and prescribed format for submission of essential eligibility conditions 1 & 2. The submissions must be made in person or through registered post to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission before the last date.
