Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is going to declare class 12th result 2020 on July 17 at 1 PM. JAC 12th result 2020 date and time has been confirmed by JAC chairman Arvind Prasad Singh. He also stated that the state education minister Jagarnath Mahto will declare the Class 12 board exams for arts, science and commerce streams. Students will be able to check their JAC 12th exam results 2020 online at jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacrresults.com.
The result will be first announced by state education minister Jagarnath Mahto in the presence of Singh at the Jharkhand board’s head office in Ranchi. After this, the result will be published online and can be checked by the students.
To check JAC 12th result 2020, the students have to first visit the official website and then, click on the relevant link of the result. After clicking on the link, the students have to enter the roll code and roll number as mentioned on their admit card. Next, click on the ‘submit’ button to check the result. Lastly, the students can download and take a print out of the result for future reference.
It has been observed that once the result is declared, the official website may become slow or unresponsive due to heavy traffic. Hence, in such a case, students can get their result on the mobile phone. As per examresults.net, to get the result on the mobile phone, students will need to type – RESULT<space>JAC12<space>ROLL CODE + ROLL NO and send the message to 56263
JAC Class 12th examination 2020 took place in February 2020. But, soon after the conduct of the examination, the nationwide lockdown was imposed due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. As a result, the declaration of JAC result was delayed. Usually, JAC class 12th result is declared in the month of May but, this year there was a lot of uncertainty regarding the announcement of results. This year, the evaluation work of JAC was started from May 28, 2020.
Last year, nearly, 4 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 12th examination. The total number of students who appeared from the Science stream was 94,326 whereas, a total number 35,052 students appeared from the Commerce stream. In the Arts stream, the total number of 1,84,384 students appeared.
The overall pass percentage of the Science stream was 57%. The overall percentage of girls was 61.08% and boys percentage was 55.01%. For the Commerce stream, the pass percentage was 70.4% whereas for the Arts stream it was 79.97%.
The toppers from the Science stream were Radhe Shyam, Ravi Ranjan, Sachin Kumar. The toppers from the Commerce stream were Amisha Kumari, Saloni Agarwal, Sakshi Anurag. From the Arts stream, the top 3 toppers were Manali Gupta, Pramila Kisku, Palak Agarwal.
