Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), for the first time, has released the exam calendar for two years together. Exam calendars for year 2019 as well as year 2020 have been published at uppsc.up.nic.in. The step was taken by the commission in light of the arrest of UPPSC examination controller Anju Katiyar in connection with paper leak case.
There will be six exams this year, and eight in the next.
The first upcoming exam is that for Programmer / Programmer grade 1 on September 01, 2019. Then Computer operator grade b exam is on September 15, 2019. After that Programmer grade 2 exam is on October 13, 2019. PCS Mains exam 2018 will be from October 18, 2019. UP PCS 2019 prelims exam will be on December 15, 2019.
Then in the year 2020, UP APO exam will be on February 16, 2020. Assistant forest officer 2018 mains exam will be from February 23, 2020. UP PCS 2019 mains exam shall be April 20, 2020 onwards. UP APO mains exam will be from May 16, 2020.
UP PCS 2020 prelims exam will be on June 21, 2020. Assistant forest officer 2019 mains exam will be from August 16, 2020. PCS Mains 2020 exam shall be from October 15, 2020. Assistant forest officer 2020 mains exam will be held from December 3, 2020.
All Uttar Pradesh government job aspirants can refer to the calendar to note the schedule prepared by the Commission. With the exam dates announced, aspirants can gear up for the exams.
STF had arrested Anju Katiyar on May 30, 2019. The controller was alleged to be involved in the paper leak of two subjects of LT grade teacher. A number of exam related activities got delayed as a result.
UP PCS 2018 main exam was supposed to be held on October 18, 2018, which will now be held in December this year. Similarly UP VDO result was not announced. Now it is anticipated that the recruitment related activities will get back on track.
