National Testing Agency issued a public notice today, July 09, 2021, announcing the extension of the registration deadline for the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021. Accordingly, the deadline has been extended to July 15, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Invariably, the last date to pay the application fee has also been extended to July 15, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. Hence, students have been given a week’s time to complete their registration process to apply for the exam. However, the authorities are yet to announce the UPCET 2021 revised examination date.
Earlier, UPCET 2021 was scheduled to be conducted on June 15, 2021, and the registration process wad to end on May 10, 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exam was postponed indefinitely, and the registration deadline was extended to July 06, 2021. However, authorities received multiple requests from students to extend the registration deadline to submit their application forms. Therefore, the last date to submit the application form has been extended by a week.
Interested and eligible students who are yet to apply for UPCET 2021 can do so on the official website upcet.nta.nic.in. NTA shall also be provided a correction window from July 17 to 20, 2021, for candidates to make changes or corrections in their application form. However, beyond this, no correction facility will be provided by the authorities.
As of now, the UP CET 2021 examination date is yet to be disclosed. However, the National Testing Agency recently announced the new dates for the JEE Main 2021 examination. The remaining two sessions are now being conducted in the fourth week of July 2021, through the centre-based online format. If a full-fledged national-level entrance exam can be conducted than a state-level examination is also safe to be held under the current circumstances. Hence, NTA is like to announce the new exam date soon on the official website upcet.nta.nic.in. it is expected that the exam will be conducted in the month of August 2021. Admit cards for the same will be released 15 days prior, as indicated in the information bulletin.
Once released, successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of UPCET. To do so, they have to enter their application number and date of birth. The admit card will specify the exact date and time to appear for the entrance exam. All candidates are to abide by the date, time and exam instructions mentioned in their respect admit cards.
National Testing Agency shall be conducting the UPCET examination this year for admitting students to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The admission process will take place solely based on the student’s individual performance in the examination. The courses for admission include B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Pharm., BHMCT, MBA, MCA, etc.
