Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has changed the UPTET 2018 second shift examination timing. Now, the shift 2 examination for VI-VIII class is scheduled to be held on November 18, 2018, from 03:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m. Previously shift 2 examination for VI-VIII class was supposed to be held on November 18, 2018, from 2:30 p.m to 05:00 p.m.
2nd shift examination timing has been changed by the board on November 13, 2018. No changes have been done for the shift 1 examination (I-V class). The shift 1 examination for I-V class is supposed to be held on November 18, 2018, from 10:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
Timing Changed REASON
The reason has been not revealed by the board that why the examination timing has been changed. It may be possible that the board will reveal the reason for changing the time. However, it has not been assured that the board will reveal the reason or not.
The UPTET examination date has also been changed previously. As earlier the UPTET examination was scheduled to be held on November 04 but the board has extended the examination date by two weeks and now the UPTET 2018 examination will held on November 18, 2018. The reason for extending the examination date is the cancellation of the BTC 04 semester exams and the National Talent Search Examination which had to be conducted on November 04, 2018. So, the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority has requested the government to extend the UPTET exam date.
List Of The Document To Be Carried On The Day Of Exam
The candidates should carry a hard copy of the UPTET Admit Card 2018 and one valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID Card, Passport etc.) on the day of the UPTET 2018 examination. The candidates who will not carry the admit card & Photo ID proof those will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
Exam Pattern
The mode of the UPTET Exam is offline and the objective types questions will be asked in the examination. For each correct answer, 01 marks will be awarded. The duration of the examination will be of 01 and a half hour.

About UPTET – Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) once in a year. The UPTET is conducted for doing the selection of Primary and Junior Teachers in Uttar Pradesh. UPTET contain 02 examinations. UPTET Paper I is for primary level teachers (class I-V) and UPTET Paper II is for Junior level teachers (class VI-VIII).
