Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has announced the UP TGT PGT 2021 Exam Date. As per the notice, the exam for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) will be held on August 07 and 08, 2021 and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) exam will take place on August 17 and 18, 2021. The call letters are expected in due course of time.
The UP TGT PGT exam notification was released on June 24, 2021 on the official website, upsessb.org.in. As per the notification, the online registrations for the exam was concluded on May 2, 2021. Now, the eligible candidates can prepare accordingly for the exam considering the announced exam date. Moreover, the recruitment for TGT teachers was advertised for 12603 vacancies and 2595 for PGT posts.
It is expected that the conducting body shall release the UP TGT PGT 2021 admit card a few weeks before the exam. Most likely, the call letters will be uploaded on upsessb.org.in in the last week of July 2021. If this is the case, the board will publish an official notice to convey the UP TGT PGT admit card release date. Candidates will require their Registration Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Verification code to log in.
Further, the recruitment for UP TGT and PGT teachers was announced last year through Advt 01/2020 and Advt 02/2020 respectively. However, these notifications got cancelled and new advertisements were published with revised vacancies. The online registrations were re-started from March 16, 2021 for both Advt 01/2021 and Advt 02/2021.
The exam for both TGT and PGT post will be organized as an offline exam. There will be 125 questions in each test which will be multiple choice question format. Aspirants will get 02 hours to complete the examination. TGT question paper shall carry 500 marks with+4 marks for correct answer. Whereas PGT exam will be held for 425 marks having 3.4 marks for every correct answer. There is no negative marking in UP TGT PGT exam 2021.
Selection for the TGT advertised vacancies will be based on two rounds. At first, candidates have to appear for the written exam for which the schedule is out. Thereafter, to prepare the result, performance in a written exam and special qualification weightage is considered. The selection procedure for PGT posts consists of 03 rounds. The first stage is the written exam which will take place in August 2021. On qualifying at that stage, aspirants have to appear for the interview round (50 marks) and special qualification weightage round (25 marks).
