The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has preserved the decision for the UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment Result 2019. On Friday i.e. February 22, 2019, the HC has complete the hearing, and Judge Rajesh Singh has preserved the decision. Now Court will pronounce the detailed verdict in this matter. The case was running for the decision to cut off marks in the exam.
The UP Assistant Teacher examination was held on January 06, 2019, and the State Government released the notice for the cut off marks. In the notice, it was decided to put 65% as cut off marks for General Category candidates, and 60% marks for OBC category candidates. Here it should be noted that in the initial notification there was no information about cut off marks. All the petition writers claim this move as the unlawful in their petitions.
The Court asked the State govermnet to think over the previous examination cut off marks which were 45% marks for the unreserved candidates, and 40% marks for the reserved candidates. To justify their decision the State Government explained that, To Improve the quality of the education system, such high cut off marks have been decided. By claiming this the Government has refused to compromise with the merit criterion.
Further, the advocates of State Government justified that, their decision is absolutely correct as their concern is to provide quality education at the primary level. And this necessitates the quality of teachers.
After considering all the points presented by both advocated, the Court has taken the decision, now in the next hearing, the verdict will be out. After the verdict, soon the result will be announced on the official website atrexam.upsdc.gov.in. Once the result will be declared, the qualified candidates will be selected for the document verification process. As of now, there is no solid information about the document verification.
