The University of Rajasthan published B.Ed part 1, and part 2 exam results on Saturday, and soon after that, the website crashed. It is confirmed that students are unable to access result.uniraj.ac.in as well as the main website of the university from all places. It is probably a server side issue caused as multiple students were trying to access the site at once to check results.

It is expected that the university will look into the matter and the website will be functional in a short while. Earlier this year when the BA part 1, 2, and 3 results were announced in June, the site went down for three days. Students could check their results 72 hours after result was out.

Following results have been published by the state university this month on these dates: B.Ed part 1 and part 2 – September 14, B.Com part 3 hons supplementary and B.Com part 3 supplementary – September 12, M.Sc physics 1st sem Dec 2018 reval – September 12, BA part 1 and 2 deaf and dumb reval 2019 – September 11, B.Sc part 2 reval 2019 – September 3, Dual degree B.Tech-M.Tech – September 3.

Once the site is working again, students can go to result.uniraj.ac.in and click on B.Ed result link. Then they have to login with roll number to check their result. Name wise option to check result is also anticipated. Upon clicking the name wise link, one can enter their name. Then a page opens with roll number and father’s names of all the students with the same name. Corresponding to students’ details, when his or her name is clicked, the result opens.

Rajasthan University B.Ed result indicates name of student, father’s name, mother’s name, roll number, E.No., category, medium, college, and marks. Against total marks, result status and division are indicated.

There are a few terms that students come across in Uniraj results, and are unable to immediately understand what they mean. Though official database for search terms is not available, ex-students of the university and seniors have shared what they know about these. As per them, POSO means passed in optional subject. RW refers to result withheld. EX means exemption for that subject. Then RL means result later. PPTO means passed part third only. EFFY is supposed to mean eligible for next year or eligible for final year.

One of the oldest universities in Rajasthan, UoR was founded in the year 1948. Spread across more than 10 lakh square yards, the university has 10 faculties. In the recent reshuffling in state government, Harphool Singh Yadav has been appointed as the registrar of Rajasthan University.
