National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET Result 2019 for June exam. The candidates can check their result online at nta.ac.in. The result has been declared on July 13, 2019, and the exam for UGC NET June 2019 was concluded on 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26 Jun 2019.
To check the UGC NET June 2019 result, the candidates need to visit the official website of NTA. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the link which says “UGC NET Result”. In the next screen, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for checking the UGC NET Result and then enter their application number and date of birth. Then, click on the “Submit” button and in the next screen, the candidates will be able to view their result.

In order to qualify the exam, the candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks as decided by the exam conducting body. The minimum marks to be obtained by the candidate in order to pass the test are 40%, whereas, it is 35% for the reserved category candidates.
In the UGC NET Result 2019, the candidates will be able to view details such as their roll number, Number of candidates in this subject, number of candidates appeared in this subject, Maximum marks, Marks obtained, Percentage of marks, NTA UGC NET June 2019 Percentile Score, Result, etc.
After the declaration of the result, the qualified candidates are issued the JRF letter. It is sent to the qualified candidates via post and is valid for a period of 3 years.
UGC NET is an eligibility test conducted by the National testing Agency (NTA). UGC NET scores are used for Assistant Professor or Lectureship, and only those who are declared so can apply anywhere in India for this position. Furthermore, it determines eligibility for the award of JRF. While UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professor remains valid without any upper limit of validity, that for JRF is valid for three years. The exam was earlier conducted by CBSE. Since December 2018, NTA has been conducting it.
National Testing Agency is the premier testing body in India that has now been conducting several exams such as JEE Main, NEET, UGC NET, AIEEA, DUET, and few more. Except NEET, NTA holds all other exams in online computer based test mode. NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year – June and December.
