The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET December Admit Card 2018 today, at 6:30 pm, on November 19, 2018. Candidates can now go to the official website of NTA to download the admit card. So, the candidates who have applied for the exam which will be held from December 18 to 22, 2018 can now download it.
To download the admit card, the candidates can visit the official website ntanet.nic.in. There the candidates can log in by using the application number and the password. Then the admit card will appear. It is available in the pdf format. It contains the name of the candidates, application number, date of the exam, the shift of the exam, timing, exam center name and some other important information.
The candidates can now check the admit card and if there is any discrepancy in the admit card then they can communicate NTA with the helpline number. Candidates can use the helpline from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The queries will be considered from November 19 to November 25, 2018. All the details of the admit card must be correct. If the information available on the admit card will be incorrect then the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Along with the admit card of UGC NET 2018, the candidates need to carry some important documents such as One Passport size photograph, One original government authorized identity proof (Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card), and PWD certificate (if applicable).
It is prohibited to carry any kind of electronic gadget, mobile phone, camera etc in the exam hall. If the invigilator will find that the candidates possess any unfair mean then it will be considered as a serious violation and resultant the candidature of the candidate will be canceled.
UGC NET 2018 exam will be held on December 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22, 2018. Each day, the exams will be conducted into two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Paper- I will be held in the first session. There will be a total of 50 objective type questions in this paper and each question will contain 2 marks. All the questions are compulsory. 1 hour will be given to complete this paper.
Paper- 2 will be conducted in the second session. Candidates will have to solve 100 objective type questions within 2 hours. There will be 2 marks for each question. So, the total marks will be 200 for this entire paper. All the questions will be mandatory.
