National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET 2021 result for December 2020 and June 2021. The cut-off marks for UGC NET have also been reportedly released by the agency for all the subjects on the basis of the category. NTA UGC NET was conducted in three phases from November 20, 2021, to January 05, 2022. Candidates can check out the result along with the cut-off marks for the UGC NET 2021 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET Cut-offs 2021
Although the agency has released the result and cut-off marks, the candidates are finding difficulty in checking the subject-wise cut-off marks as of now.
On accessing the official website, the candidates are redirected to the result server page citing which there is difficulty in checking the category-wise cut-off marks. The scorecard that is available after successfully logging in is also displaying the same message but there are no signs of the cut-off marks PDF as of now.
It is now anticipated that the UGC NET cut-off marks PDF for all the subjects shall be available by evening or tomorrow, and candidates would be able to access the same. Meanwhile, candidates can check out the sample of the NET scorecard in the space below:

The candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website of NTA as the subject-wise cut-off marks PDF for both the posts i.e. Junior Research Fellow and Assistant Professor shall be released anytime now.
UGC NET cut-offs 2021 – How to check?
Candidates who have appeared for the NET UGC exam can check out the cut off marks scored by the candidates using the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NTA, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, the link to UGC NET cut-offs 2021 will be available at the bottom, in blue.
Step 3: After clicking on the button, candidates will be redirected to a PDF document listing subject-wise and category-wise cut-offs.
Step 4: Check out the subject-wise marks scored in the UGC NET exam and save its copy on the device.

Apart from the cut-off marks for NTA UGC NET, the agency has prescribed the minimum qualifying marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the unreserved category is 40% of the total marks. Whereas, the same for the reserved category is 35% of the total marks for papers 1 and 2. Candidates who qualify for the examination will be eligible to take up jobs as Assistant Professor or Junior Research fellow in any of the universities. Along with this, they also stand eligibility to get the e-certificate that comes with a validity of lifetime.
