National Testing Agency (NTA) has released UGC NET 2019 question paper and responses. Candidates can now login with application number and date of birth at ntanet.nic.in. All can download UGC NET question paper of their exam date and shift with their chosen options.
UGC NET Answer Key 2019 is now expected very soon. It is likely to be available tonight, on June 28, 2019, only, within next few hours. Either a separate link will be activated for answer key display, or candidates will get it by logging in through link that is available now for display of question paper and responses.
Candidates are requested to note that at the time of publishing this news, only question paper and responses of UGC NET 2019 have been released. We have confirmed by logging in that answer key is not yet available. You can see all the questions, and all your answers nevertheless.
As soon as NTA releases answer key of UGC NET June 2019 exam, it will also allow candidates to challenge them. Candidates will have to fill up a challenge form and pay Rs 1000 per challenge. This can be done by all test takers, for all 81 subjects. However, candidates are advised to be sure of the answers before challenging.
UGC NET 2019 was held as computer based tests on June 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26, 2019. There were 2 shifts on each day. The exam was held for 9.42 lakh registered candidates at 615 centres in 237 cities.
Being a CBT, candidates did not get any hard copy of their test papers after exam. Thus by releasing question paper with responses, the NTA is providing candidates with test papers and their marked answers. Now, when answer key of UGC NET releases, candidates will be able to match answers and predict their scores correctly.
This is only the second time that NTA is responsible for UGC NET, the first time was in December of 2018. As a positive improvement, this time the display of papers is taking place even sooner than last time. Last time the answer key was released exactly one week after the exam.
With the events running ahead of schedule, it is also expected that UGC NET Result 2019 could be announced early. In fact there are high chances that result could come around July 10, 2019.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has a track record of declaring results early. For example, NTA was supposed to announce NCHM JEE result on May 15, but announced it one day early. The result of JEE Main, in January, was announced 12 days too soon.
Most importantly, NTA had announced the result of NET exam held in December, 5 days early. The exam conducting body had stated January 10 as the result date in information brochure. However, result came out on January 5. Such observations lead to expectations of early declaration of NTA NET June 2019 results as well.
