The IIT Bombay has conducted the UCEED 2022 exam today from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The exam was conducted at various centers across India. The UCEED 2022 exam was a little bit more difficult than the UCEED 2021 exam. The candidates can check the analysis of the exam here.
As per experts, the exam was of moderate difficulty level. It was comparable to last year.
GK questions were very few. English comprehension questions were also pretty easy. Students faced most difficulty in numerical based questions as they were time consuming.

The question paper was divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A had 68 questions for a total of 240 marks and Part B contained one question for 60 marks. The exam was of moderate difficulty level.
Part A was divided into three sections. Section 1 had 18 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions for 72 marks.Section 2 had 18 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) also for 72 marks and section 3 had 32 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 96 marks.
The Part A questions were attemptable.The difficulty level of the NAT questions were moderate but the questions were lengthy. The students were of the opinion that the NAT section was a little bit tricky. A question from physics about a drawing was also tricky.
The MSQ questions were of moderate to difficult difficulty level and one student was of the opinion the questions were “mind-blowing’.
The MCQ questions were of easy to moderate level difficulty. Many students were of the opinion that they did not get enough time to complete all the questions in Part A. Also, there were no General Knowledge questions and English questions. All the questions were from technical section.
The Part B drawing question was also of moderate difficulty level. Many students could complete the drawing in the allotted time.
The UCEED 2021 question was of moderate difficulty. Most of the students went to attempt the UCEED 2022 exam expecting the same level of difficulty. The difficulty of the questions in UCEED 2021 ranged from easy to moderate and the part B drawing question was also of moderate difficulty level.
IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key of UCEED 2022 on January 25, 2022 and the candidates can raise objections about the answer key till 5.00 p.m. on January 27. The final result and answer key will be released on March 10, 2022. The counselling will start from April 10, 2022.
