Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) conducted the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP) 2021 on August 28 and 29, 2021. Results for the same will be announced on September 02, 2021, on the official website ubter.in. In the meantime, candidates can calculate their tentative score using unofficial answer keys uploaded online by various coaching institutes and education portals. Calculating a tentative score is useful as candidates will know their chances of getting into a good polytechnic institution. As UBTER JEEP 2021 is a state-level entrance exam, candidates can seek admission only to colleges within Uttarakhand based on their scores.
As of now, authorities have not released the official answer key on the UBTER portal i.e., ubter.in. It is also doubtful about whether authorities will actually release the UBTER JEEP 2021 answer key or not. Under this dilemma, it is better to check other unofficial portals for reliable answer keys.
As of now, candidates can refer to institutes like Trishakti Academy who have uploaded YouTube videos, explaining solution to various questions asked in the exam.
By tomorrow, August 30, 2021, or the day after, various portals may upload their own answer keys. Hence, it is only a matter of patience that candidates need to show to calculate their tentative scores. Apart from this, students are advised to check the official website frequently for any updates on the UBTER JEEP 2021 official answer key.
To calculate the tentative scores, candidates have to use the appropriate marking scheme applicable for UBTER JEEP 2021 examination. The paper comprising of 100 questions is for a maximum of 500 marks. Hence, for each correct answer, 5 marks will be awarded to the candidate. Much to the aspirant’s relief, there is no negative marking in case of incorrect/unanswered questions. It is a very straight-forward marking scheme enabling candidates to check their scores quickly.
As of now, UBTER is scheduled to announce the JEEP 2021 results on September 02, 2021. Again, results will be announced on the official website and not be notified personally to any candidate. Candidates must click on the result link, key in the necessary credentials, and download the UBTER JEEP 2021 scorecard.
Aspirants who clear the UBTER JEEP 2021 examination will have to attend the counselling session thereafter. This session is expected to begin in the second week of September 2021. Proper schedule and dates for the same shall be released soon on the official portal. However, to be eligible for the counselling process, students must score equal to or greater than the cut-off marks. These cut-off marks depending on the different categories, will be disclosed post result declaration.
