The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) 2022 exam notification is expected to be released soon at tslprb.in. The Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, on March 09 announced the department-wise vacancies for government jobs. He also mentioned that the annual recruitment calendar will be released soon, along with the recruitment notifications. Reportedly, there are a total of 18,334 vacancies in the Telangana Police Department.

The Telangana CM had announced in the State Legislative Assembly, last Wednesday about the recruitment for government jobs in various departments. According to his announcement, there are a total of 80,039 job vacancies this year. He also stated that around 95% of the jobs will be offered to the natives of Telangana. The news has brought hope to many eligible candidates who are interested in working for the government. The CM also added that an additional 20,000 jobs will be available once the disputes between the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are settled.
TSLPRB Notification 2022
In the official notification which will be released soon, the unit-wise and category-wise vacancy details will be provided. The recruitment is usually done in 4 stages. The recruitment and exam pattern for the previous years’ is given here. More clarity on the selection procedure will be available once the notification is released. Any changes in the procedure will be conveyed through the notification. The syllabus of the exam will be made available too.
The stage 1 is the Preliminary Written Test (PWT), which is conducted for 3 hours and carries a weightage of 200 marks. The PWT is conducted in offline mode. Candidates who qualify this exam will have to appear for the Physical Measurements Test (PMT). In the PMT, the candidates have to satisfy the prescribed body measurements, after which they will have to attend the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Out of a total of 5 events, candidates have to participate in any 3 and qualify the test. Candidates who qualify each of the PWT, PMT and PET will be shortlisted for the Final Written Examination (FWE), which is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The cut-off marks for each of the written tests is 40% for OC, 35% for BC, 30% for SC/ ST. The final selection is based on the candidates’ performance in the FWE.
