The Consortium of National Law Universities has conducted its executive committee meeting on March 14, 2022. At the meeting, the committee has taken a lot of important decisions regarding the CLAT 2022 examination. Now, it has been decided that the examination shall be conducted on June 19, 2022, between 2 pm to 4 pm for both the UG and PG programmes. Earlier, the examination was scheduled for May 08, 2022, in similar time slot.
Apart from this, the executive committee has also decided to extend the last date to apply for the CLAT exam to May 09, 2022. The board has notified this information via a notice. Another important thing to note here is that the board has not mentioned any reason for postponing the examination. However, it is believed that this decision has been taken since the exam, dates were clashing with class 12th board exams. Further, it has been reported that in any case, the candidates find any issue in the CLAT exam then the matter can be conveyed to the committee via mail at [email protected], or phone at 080-47162020 (between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working days).

CLAT 2022 – Date Clash with other exams
On June 19, 2022, the CLAT 2022 exam is going to clash with the COMEDK UGET entrance test. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has already commenced the application process and is all set to conduct the UGET computer-based exam on June 19. In addition, on June 19, RSMSSB Rajasthan is going to conduct the recruitment exam for computer instructors in the state.
CLAT 2022 – Application Form
Now, as the application form filling deadline has been raised, the candidates who have not yet filled the form can apply for the same. Candidates can go through the steps below to apply for the CLAT 2022 examination:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU, consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Find and click the CLAT 2022 application form and register for the exam using the name, mobile number, email id, etc.
Step 3: Use the login id and password to login on to the page, choose the course, and then fill in the remaining application form with personal details, academic details, choice of college, test city preference, etc.
Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature on the next page and then move to the next page.
Step 5: In the end, pay the CLAT application form fee using any of the online payment methods and submit the application form.
The prescribed application fee for CLAT 2022 is INR 4000 for the unreserved category and 3500 for the reserved category.

CLAT 2022 is an annual law entrance examination held to provide admission to candidates to the BA LLB and LLM courses at various NLUs. The test score of the examination is accepted by a total of 22 leading NLUs and Law Schools. The examination is conducted across the country in around 80 cities.
