TS POLYCET 2019 Result Announced; Download Rank Card at polycetts.nic.in

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana has declared the results for TS POLYCET 2019 on April 26, 2019. All such candidates who took the examination on April 16, 2019, can now check their results at polycetts.nic.in. Also, candidates will be able to download their rank cards for the exam along with the result.

Now, in order to check the TS POLYCET 2019 result, a candidate needs to visit the official website. In the login page enter your hall ticket number. Click on the view rank card to check your result. MAke sure to download this rank card for further references.

The result for TS POLYCET 2019 is as per the candidate’s individual performance in the exam. The exam was held for admission to various engineering/non-engineering diploma courses. A total of 120 questions were asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Furthermore, the score of a candidate will be generated on the basis of the marking scheme. That is for each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded to the candidate. There is no negative marking in the exam, therefore, the sum of all the correct answers marked is the total score of a candidate.

In case of a tie between two or more candidates at the time of rank allocation, the tie-breaking methodology is applied. As per the tie-breaking criteria, a candidate with a higher score in mathematics will be placed higher in rank. If the tie still persists then the candidate with a higher score in physics will be placed higher.

Further, if the tie is still not resolved then the date of birth will be checked. Elder candidates will get a higher rank. And if it still prevails, then the candidates with a higher score in the qualifying exam get the better rank in TS POLYCET 2019.

Further, to qualify TS POLYCET 2019, the candidates need to obtain cut off marks. Candidates who obtain marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks will be declared as qualified. To pass TS POLYCET 2019, the candidates need to obtain 36 marks out of 120. In case of SC/ST category candidates, the minimum cut off marks are 30%.

Soon after the declaration of result candidates who have qualified the exam will be called for the counselling process. The detailed notification regarding the same will be published in daily newspapers. In the counselling process, original certificates and documents of a candidate will be verified.

The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit of a candidate in the exam. Also, a printout of all the options selected by candidates will be kept as a record and reference.
