Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will soon announce the results soon for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2021 examination. Previously, authorities had stated that results would be announced on September 12, 2021, which is tomorrow. This announcement was also updated on the official website edcet.tsche.ac.in. However, now the website has been updated, and is showing the message “Result declaration date will be updated soon”. This has left aspirants confused about whether or not results will be announced tomorrow. Due to these developments, results are likely to be delayed beyond tomorrow.
Osmania University, on behalf of TSCHE conducted the TS EdCET 2021 examination on August 24 and 25, 2021. The exam was conducted in two shifts on each day – first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and second shift from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The exam was conducted through the computer-based format across various centres within the state of Telangana.
A few days ago, an update about the TS EdCET 2021 examination was posted on the official website edcet.tsche.ac.in. Accordingly, the results were going to come out tomorrow. However, today, September 11, 2021, the website shows something different i.e., result date will be announced soon. Thus, even though the results are likely to come out soon, an exact date is yet to be announced soon. In the meantime, candidates can visit the official website frequently to get the latest updates or announcements in this regard.
Once announced, candidates can download the TS EdCET 2021 results on the official website edcet.tsche.ac.in. To check their results, candidates must click on the result download link present on the homepage of the website. Thereafter, candidates must enter the required credentials such as Hall Ticket Number, date of Birth, registration Number, etc. They must submit these details to download and print a copy of their results for later use or reference.
Apart from the TS EdCET 2021 results, authorities will also be releasing a merit list, after allotting a separate rank to each qualified candidate. In case of a tie in the total marks, scores in each subject will be considered to decide the relative ranking. The order of subjects in the tie-breaking system will be as follows –
Teaching Aptitude > General English > General Knowledge & Educational Issues > Computer Awareness
Even after employing system, the tie continues to persist, those candidates will be bracketed to provide them a rank later. And at the time of admission process, age will be taken as the criterion to provide ranks to those aspirants. Of course, older candidates will be given a higher rank in the final merit list.
