Tripura Board of Secondary Education, TBSE has postponed the class 10th, 12th exams 2021 due to the prevailing scenario of COVID 19. The revised date will be announced later by the board later depending on the pandemic situation in the state. The decision on the postponement of Tripura Board Exam 2021 for Class 10 and 12 came after students and parents protest that the current situation is not appropriate and will affect the health of the students who will sit for the examination.
Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on his Twitter handle said that “As per decision of TBSE the board examinations of class X & XII has been postponed for the time being until further notice. My message to all the students to be prepared for the examination as when the situation will be fruitful the examination will be conducted”.

As per the schedule released earlier, Tripura Board Exams 2021 were scheduled to begin from May 18, 2021. Earlier, the board postponed the pre-board exams amid the rising COVID19 cases. The Class 10 board exams for May 19 and Class 12 board exams from May 18.
Now, the board will announce the new dates soon after evaluating the Covid-19 situation in the state. Hence, based on this, it can be expected that the decision for the new dates shall be announced after June 1, 2021.
Apart from postponing the TBSE board exams, the state government of Tripura has also postponed all undergraduate and postgraduate semester examinations of private and government universities. Moreover, the schools across the state have been shut and Class 3 to 9, 11 annual exams are being postponed for the time being.
The board will announce the revised date in due course of time online at its official website, tbse.tripura.gov.in. It is advised to the students to keep visiting the board’s official website regularly for more updates on this.
