Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the TNPSC Statistical Inspector notification 2021 on the official website, tnpsc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the Statistical Inspector under TNPSC is November 19, 2021.
As per the official notification, TNPSC Statistical Inspector paper 1 and 2 is scheduled for January 09, 2022. Paper 1 is going to be held from 10 am to 1 pm and paper 2 is scheduled from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The maximum age to apply for TNPSC Statistical Inspector is 30 years for the General category but there are no such criteria for the reserved category candidates. The educational qualification relevant for the post is having a Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with working knowledge of computer statistical tools. Along with this, they must have adequate knowledge of the Tamil language.
The selection process for TNPSC Statistical Inspector comprises two papers, paper 1 will have 200 questions from Statistics. Whereas, paper 2 is going to have 100 questions from General Studies and from the Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. The candidates who belong to unreserved category have to score 200 marks to get the final selection. While those who belong to the reserved category need to score 150 marks in the selection process.

Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the apply now link below the TNPSC Statistical Inspector notification
Step 3: After this, fill the OTR form with relevant details like personal details, dob, religion etc and generate a login id and password
Step 4: Next, fill TNPSC Statistical Inspector application form with other details, educational qualification, address, scanned photograph and signature
Step 5: In the end, pay the prescribed application fee and submit the application form of TNPSC Statistical Inspector
The prescribed application fee is INR 150 for the One-time registration(OTR) and INR 100 for appearing in the written examination. This fee is applicable to all the candidates irrespective of their category.
