The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the application form and notification for the Combined Civil Services (Group-IV) examination. Interested candidates can apply online via the official website – tnpsc.gov.in. It must be noted that the last date for applying is April 28, 2022. For online applications, candidates have to first sign in using the login ID and password. A total of 7301 vacancies are going to be filled via this recruitment drive.

The official notification has been released today, i.e. March 30, 2022. Candidates can start applying online from today onwards. To get some clarity, here are the important dates for the recruitment examination.

Salary
The posts under recruitment have been divided into two categories. For both of them, the scale of pay ranges from level 3 to level 10. More details have been given in the table below.

Application Fee
Before applying online for TNPSC Group 4 2022 recruitment, candidates must complete the one-time registration via the official website – tnpsc.gov.in for which they have to pay an amount of Rs 150. Candidates who have already registered need not register again. The examination fee is Rs 100 and that has to be paid at the time of submitting the online application.
Examination Scheme
The written examination is going to be held in the objective-type pattern, i.e. via the OMR method. The total marks for the examination is 300. There will be two parts in the question paper. While the first part is on compulsory Tamil language, the second part is on General Studies and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. A duration of 3 hours will be given to complete the examination. It must be noted that the minimum qualifying marks are 90.
