“Dear candidate. Your hall ticket for data entry operator has been dispatched. Exam is on 08/09/2019 and exam will be at Madurai. Regds, TNCWWB”. Thus reads the sms received by a candidate, who had applied for the TNCWWB recruitment 2019.
Whereas the TNCWWB recruitment for data entry operator and junior assistant was advertised in October last year, and form was closed in November, it has been nine months since its last official update. Even now there is no intimation on official website regarding exam date or hall ticket availability. Candidates who had applied against the 111 vacancies of DEO and 66 of JA, have been visiting labour.tn.gov.in to look for admit card download.
Today, a few candidates started sharing screenshots of a message concerning the exam. One such message is shown below.
The message has been sent from QP-TNCWWB. It contains three critical pieces of information. First of all, it says that hall ticket has been dispatched. This means that candidates will be getting the admit card by post and not in online mode. Sometimes exam conducting bodies mistakenly use the dispatched term even when they upload admit card on official website. Thus candidates started visiting labour.tn.gov.in. However we have confirmed that at the time of publishing this news, any new link for admit card download for TNCWWB recruitment is not available there yet.
The second critical information in the message is the exam date. September 8 is the second Sunday of the month. There is a little over two weeks time to go for the exam.
Third important details in the message is the exam city. Even though candidates will be receiving admit cards after some time only, they can note the exam city from the message, and make relevant travel arrangements to attend the exam. When the admit card is available they will know the exact centre for exam.
Tamil Nadu Labour Department had invited applications for Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board recruitment vide advt no 02/2018. Class 10 pass or equivalent candidates could apply.

Yes I too received the same message and have not received any through post or website. Please confirm the date and hall ticket for the following exam. All over Tamilnadu have typewriting exam on the same date.

Two candidates who had applied for the recruitment have kindly pointed out that they have not received similar message from TNCWWB. We are trying to get more information from different sources, and as soon as any update is received, we will cover it. Please check your registered mobile numbers for the SMS. Do not panic if you have not received any, as there is no confirmation on official website about the same yet.
