Tata Institute of Social Science is going to release the admit card for TISSNET 2020, the institute’s national eligibility test, today on December 19, 2019. After the short delay in the process, the exam hall tickets are all set to be available for download.
Candidates will be requiring their email ids and password in order to download the admit cards. To overcome any bottlenecks that candidates may face in the course of downloading their hall tickets, TISS has prepared for the most common issues.
For instance the biggest problems that candidates face is forgetting password. Thus, a forgot password facility has been provided on the login page, where, candidates need to type in their email addresses and the text that appears on screen to get or reset the password.
The complete timeline for TISS MA admission 2020 is as follows.
Admission announcement was made on October 18, 2019. From then onwards to November 30, 2019, applications were accepted. Then the last date for receipt of application form by post was December 3, 2019. Admit card recently supposed to be available on December 18 or 19, 2019, however the same got delayed to today’s date.
Pre admission programme for SC, ST, OBC, minority candidates will be held on December 21 and 22, 2019 in the Mumbai and BALM Chennai, then on December 21, 2019 it will be in the Tuljapur campus, as well as in Hyderabad and Guwahati campuses.
The TISS National Entrance Test will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2 pm to 3 pm. Result of the exam will be declared on February 4, 2020 at 5 pm.
At Mumbai and BALM Chennai, the pre interview test and personal interview will be held from March 11 to 21, 2020 except Sundays and public holidays. For the rest of the campuses, dates are yet to be disclosed for this activity.
TISS will publish merit lists on April 21, 2020 after 5 pm.
Candidates will be asked to upload their documents and pay fees, if they are selected, from April 23 to May 4, 2020. Then the first waiting list will be published on May 11, 2020.
For the first waiting list candidates, uploading of documents and payment of fees shall be from May 11 to 18, 2020.
Physical documents verification and confirmation of admission at the respective campuses except on sundays and public holidays will be from May 19 to 30, 2020 for Mumbai campus. For Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, BALM Chennai, dates will be announced later.
Admissions will conclude at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, BALM Chennai campuses on June 10, 2020.
At Mumbai campus, new academic session shall commence on June 8, 2020. MA Elementary Education courses shall start on May 10, 2020.
Mumbai, BALM Chennai campuses will hold orientation for junior students from June 8 to 10, 2020.
TISS does not accept CAT, MAT, CET, GRE, GMAT scores. This time, TISS has introduced TISS MAT, the TISS Management Aptitude Test. Those who apply for MA HRM and LR, MA ODCL need to appear in TISS MAT immediately after TISSNET.
