Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has revised the release date of TISSNET 2019 Admit Card. According to the previous schedule, the hall tickets were supposed to be available on December 26 & 27, 2018. But according to the latest update on the official webiste, the TISS Admit Card is releasing between December 28 & 29, 2018. This update has been done on the TISS Timeline available on the homepage of M.A Admission.
Candidates who have submitted the TISSNET 2019 application form can download the admit card on the revised dates. It will be available on the TISS website at tiss.edu. Test takers will need only email id and the password to access the hall ticket. It will be downloadable until the exam day ie January 13, 2019.
On the test day, candidates have to carry a print out of TISSNET 2019 Admit Card and photo identity proof. In order to appear for the exam, candidates must have these documents for the verification round. Also, carry a photograph as uploaded in the form, in case the printed photograph is not clear on the hall ticket.
As mentioned on the official website, the exam will start exactly at 02:00 PM and will end at 03:40 PM. Candidates have to reach the exam centre latest by 01:00 PM. The exam will be a computer-based examination and will have all the Multiple Choice Questions. In the TISSNET examination, there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer. The questions will be from three sections naming General Knowledge, English Usage, and Quantitative Ability & Logical Reasoning having a weight-age of 40%, 30%, and 30% respectively.
For the preparation of the exam, candidates must prepare upto class 10 level Mathematics. Solve previous year question papers and mock test to know the type of questions that can appear in the exam. Questions are not very tough. With the clear concepts, questions can be easily solve in this section. The English section just tests the proficiency in the language. For this revise vocabulary, grammar rules to crack this section. For the general awareness section, revise current affairs especially related to social issues.
After the completion of the exam, TISSNET 2019 result is releasing on February 04, 2019. Candidates can download it from the official website. TISS will invite the selected candidates for the Pre Interview Test (PIT), and Personal Interview (PI). The preparation material for these round is available on the website. Candidates can look at them for the preparation of these rounds.
