The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has declared the result of class 12 today i.e. on April 19, 2019, at 9:30 am. The overall passing percentage is 91.3% Students who were waiting for the results can now find the results. Candidates can get their results online at tnresults.nic.in or at dge.tn.gov.in. The exams were held from March 01 to 19, 2019.
Along with the official websites, the DGE TN has also declared the result of class 12 at dge1.tn.nic.in and on dge2.tn.nic.in. Other than this, the students can also search for the results on some of the third party websites such as indiaresults.com or examresults.net or results.gov.in. The process is all the same for getting the result. The students are required to submit the registration number and their date of birth to find the result.
Between April 20 and 26, 2019, the students can obtain their mark sheets. Also, from April 22 to 24, 2019, the candidates can apply for the receipt of the answer sheets, revaluation, and re-totaling of the answer scripts. For the receipt of the answer sheets, they can submit rs. 275 each. For the re-totaling, they are required to submit rs. 205 except Biology. For Biology, they need to submit rs. 305.
Last year, the result of TN HSE +2 candidates was released on May 16, 2019. This year, the TN board declared the result 27 days earlier than the previous year.
Those candidates who could not make to pass the exams this year, the Tamil Nadu board will provide them the second chance as the supplementary exams. The TN HSE supplementary exams 2019 is expected to be held in the month of May 2019. In the previous year, the supply exams were conducted in the month of June. So, as the board has announced the results earlier, it will also conduct the supplementary exams sooner than last year.
In 2018 session, around 9,07,620 candidates took part in the exams. Out of the total students, 798614 appeared for the General Stream examinations. The overall pass percentage for last year was 91.1%. The majority of the students obtained marks between the range 701 and 800. The state capital Chennai noticed the record pass percentage i.e. 90.03%. As the subject wise data, more than 96% of the students passed the exams of Physics followed by Chemistry, Biology, and Maths.
