The Tamil Nadu Cooperative departments are inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment into 53 vacancies of Salesman and Packers in the Karur district. The official notification is released by the Karur District Recruitment Bureau for selection and appointment of eligible candidates on a contractual and regular basis. Among the 53 vacancies advertised, there are 51 vacancies in the post of Salesman and 02 vacancies for the post of Salesman in the Karur District. Applicants are required to be at least 18 years old in order to apply for the aforementioned posts. The maximum age of the candidates must not be more than 30 years. However, as per government provisions, relaxations and exemptions in the upper age limit are applicable to candidates belonging to special reserved categories. In order to apply for the post of Salesman, candidates must have passed class 12th from a state government recognized board/institute. On the other hand, to apply for the post of the packer, candidates must have passed class 10th from a state government recognized board/institute. In addition, all candidates are required to be fluent in reading and writing in the Tamil language as on the date of the release of the official notice.
The selection of eligible candidates is conducted on the basis of the interview. The shortlisting from the interview process is conducted on the basis of the marks obtained in the interview. However, it is clearly specified that the candidates must appear for the interview failing which, they are not considered for selection. Interview call letters are to be sent to the eligible applicants on the address specified in the application form.
The application form can be obtained from the branches of the Tiruchirapalli District Central Co-operative branch including the Karur Main Branch. The application fee must be deposited at the branches of Tiruchirapalli District Central Co-operative Bank, Co-operative City in favor of the District Recruitment Bureau payable at Karur. The amount of the application fee is Rs. 150. The applications must be accompanied by the specified list of all self-attested documents. Candidates must also affix a photograph and enclose a 24x10cm self-addressed envelope with Rs 2 postage stamp affixed.
