Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut has started the recruitment process for the post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Professor. The conducting body has announced a total of 86 vacancies for the teaching posts under different colleges of SVPUAT, Meerut. The online registrations have already started for the said posts. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for these posts before the last date i.e October 14, 2020.
The announced vacancies are available under the different college of SVPUAT. Out of the total 86 vacancies, 15 are announced under College of Horticulture, 24 are announced for College of Post Harvest Technology and Food Processing, 35 are out for College of Technology and 12 are out for College of Veterinary and Animal Science. Aspirants are advised to download Advertisement/2020 for recruitment for College of Horticulture, Advertisement No. II/2020 for College of Post Harvest Technology and Food Processing, Advertisement No. III/2020 for College of Technology and Advertisement No. IV/2020 for College of Veterinary and Animal Science.
Before applicants apply for the advertised post, it is suggested to read the eligibility criteria as specified in the notification. Those who are applying for Professor post should possess a PhD degree in concerned/ relevant discipline. Only those candidates who have published research papers/ works and 10 years experience as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor are eligible for apply for Professor post. To apply for Associate Professor post, PhD degree in concerned discipline is required. These candidates should have passed Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates intending to apply for Assistant Professor post should possess a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Besides this, candidates must have qualified NET exam conducted by CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR or similar test to be eligible for Assistant Professor post.

Eligible candidates have to submit their forms through email address as well as submit a hard copy of the same to the Registrar office. The completely filled form should be sent in pdf format on email id – [email protected] with the subject “Applications form for the post of ……….. Advt No. …….. and Sl. No. …….”. The hard copy of the form should be sent via registered post to Registrar, SVP University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut-250110 (U.P.). Along with the application form, candidates must attach documents related to age, educational qualification, demand draft, job experience proof and others.
