Surat Municipal Corporation has published an official notification for the recruitment of Heritage Co-ordinator Draftsman, Zoo Superintendent, Assessment and Recovery Officer, Fitter, Librarian, Draftsman, Market Superintendent, Additional Market Superintendent, Deputy Project Officer & Tracer. The conducting body has announced a total of 55 vacancies for the said posts. Eligible candidates can submit their application form on or before August 12, 2020.
Out of the total vacancies, 01 posts are announced for Heritage Co-ordinator 01 for Zoo Superintendent, 08 for Assessment and Recovery Officer, 01 for Librarian, 01 for Market Superintendent, 01 for Additional Market Superintendent, 02 for Deputy Project Officer, 02 for Deputy Project Officer, 17 for Draftsman, 03 for Tracer and 15 vacancies for Fitter (Workshop).
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Architect with 10 years of work experience for Heritage Coordinator. To apply for Zoo Superintendent, candidates must have M. Sc in Wildlife or Diploma in Wildlife Management with at least 07 years of work experience in the relevant field. Candidates who possess a bachelors degree in the concerned subject along with 08 years of work experience can apply for Assessment and Recovery Officer. Those who have completed Library Science and have 10 years of work experience can apply for the Librarian. For Market Superintendent, Deputy Project Officer and Aditional Market Superintendent, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in concerned subjects. ITI is required for Draftsman and Fitter post. Those who have passed 12th class can apply for Tracer post.
The application procedure for SMC recruitment is conducted through online mode on the official website, suratmunicipal.gov.in. They can get the application form link under the recruitment > Click on apply now against the 55 posts recruitment > Apply now for the post candidates are eligible for. Prior to the form submission, candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the ‘user registration’ button. Provide the valid email address and mobile number as they are used for the successful registration. Now, candidates can use the login details such as registered email address/ mobile number and password. In the application form, candidates are asked to enter the personal details, educational qualification details, work experience, documents detail, upload photograph and signature.
To submit the form successfully, candidates also have to make a payment of the application fee. It can be paid through online mode only. Eligible candidates have to pay Rs. 100 for Heritage Co-Ordinator, Zoo Superintendent, Assessment & Recovery Officer, Librarian, Market Superintendent, Additional Market Superintendent and Deputy Project Officer. For posts such as Draftsman and Tracer, candidates have to pay Rs. 50/- as the application fee.
