As per some newspaper reports, the Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the publication of the result of ICAR AIEEA Re-examination 2018. The re-examination for AIEEA UG and PG was held on August 18 and 19, 2018. It was expected that the result for the re-examination shall be announced on or before August 30, 2018, however, due to the floods in Kerala, the result might get delayed.
A writ petition was also filed by two candidates, Amal C T and Adarsh C K – for those who could not appear for the exam due to floods. Some candidates were allotted the test center at Kozikhode, but they were unable to report at the test venue due to heavy rain and landslide. The petitioners have made a request before the Minister for Agriculture to direct ICAR to postpone the exams.
The petitioners submitted that the ICAR ignored the appeal by the state government and went ahead with the decision to conduct the exam.
As per the official sources, many students complained that they did not even receive the information regarding the change in the exam center. Furthermore, no proper notice was issued as well. Only 40% of candidates could appear for the entrance test at Kochi.
ICAR has not yet issued any notification or commented regarding this. The students are praying that exam gets canceled and a re-exam is conducted again. While admitting the writ petition, Justice Mustaque passed an order granting an interim stay for a period of three weeks. Hence, the publication of the results of the entrance exam which was held all over the country in 56 centers will be withheld.
On August 25, 2018, ICAR published a notice on their official website, that the candidates need to update the educational qualification for the qualifying exam. The last date was August 26, 2018. failing which ICAR may withhold the release of result for such candidates.
A lot has been happening in ICAR AIEEA 2018 examination. First, the exam was canceled due to technical issues at some test centers, and now due to floods in Kerala, many were able to not to give the test. However, one disappointing part was that in such a scenario, the exam was still conducted and many students suffered. Now all these students hope that a re-exam should be held again for them.
What do you think about the re-examination of ICAR AIEEA 2018? Was that a wise decision of ICAR to conduct the exam knowing what’s been happening in Kerala? Let us know in the comment section below.
Re exam is not necessary for all the students who had written the exam on 18 and 19. However tr exam may be granted for those who could not write the exam in Kerala

Yaar baar baar exam cancel hoga toh kaise chalega
I think its a wise decision. Students are already in trauma due do exam cancellation. Therefore quick re-exam was necessity. As students are already leaving other field counselling due to their good interest in agriculture.
In this year are completely exams that know your things will be read or write
You call me someone admission would be completed are not
Can take re exam only for those who could not appear last time means only for kerala students….its very difficult to travel again and again to give exam in another place and also wastage of parents money since we are not earning…thank you
How many times a student has to travel and write for the same exam? Remember, there are very poor students who can’t afford to pay for travel and ICAR won’t give travel expenses of students. It would be wise to make all the arrangements properly so that re-examination can be avoided and I am sure ICAR is capable of doing this. Instead of conducting re-examination for all the students, it can be conducted for the flood affected students separately by modifying the question paper.
We also went through the same situation. we had taken risk to write the examination.most of us had to write the first exam outside the state which had been cancelled due to the authorities fault. Now cancelling the second exam which we wrote taking all those risk is not digestible.we are waiting for the results only after which we can make sure whether we will get admission or not and if it is been delayed our one year will be dropped so please understand the situation before making the decision.hopefully waiting for the results
If icar got the news beforehand it should have reacted to it earlier. There wouldn’t be a situation like this at all..
This year we have wasted a lot of money, time and energy giving exam again and again.. 😞
it will be worst decision to reconduct exam by icar as earlier online exam has been cancelled
Its a bluff result must be on 30 aug
Icar should conduct re-exam..
Exam should occur only in kerela not for the other states.why other state students will suffer due to kerela.plz take the decision soon because alot of students are waiting for the results and we are so much harassed due to failing of results.kindly do the exam for kerela students only and publish the result as soon as possible
What happened is bad, floods is a natural digaster and I have all sympathy with kerala people. But it’s already very late to get admission in universities and already classes are being started over there, and if we demand again re-exam then it’s something not fair with other thousands of students who have given that exam. Earlier also some students demanded re-exam on the name of cheating, technical issues due to which a massive amount candidates suffered. I wanna ask people who filed a petition that why not the hell you have put objection before examination? You didn’t saw the admit card issued ? 40% students attended the exam and you were unaware of exam don’t you know that it’s already a re-exam … ? These things look to be unmaturity and lack of interest and if it is so I request to don’t play with our patience plz?
Please think a bit empathetically also, the demand you make like a re-exam is not a matter of u alone when you talk about re-exam you are also talking of thousands who have given exam, who are innocent, who are waiting for exam result and admission, who already suffered due to re-exam but due to unfair means objection by most of people we allowed it to happen … So I request icar to think about the students missed exam but don’t forget the massive number of other students .
Sir , well we should stand with kerela student …bt sir it was national level competition and it was cancelled before also due to administrative reason …so if again it cancelled then how they will manage with syllabus with little time …so it will be worse decision to cancelled once again ..better it should reconduct reexam for kerela student only those were absent …with new question ..as first as possible …
